Painting a Day

I've started a new phase of my artistic life. I will be creating small paintings that will be auctioned on eBay. While I do have a gallery, Reuben Saunders Gallery, the prices that are charged are often out of the reach of most people. I want to offer great art at prices that everyone can afford. I will continue to produce commissioned portraits and sell large pieces through my gallery, but I thought I should offer more. So, in that spirit, I am placing small paintings on eBay on an irregular basis. I hope to get to the point where I can post one a day, but that depends on my commissions. I will post each as it is available and supply a link directly to the eBay auction. The paintings will be unframed. To the right is an example of the work I will be doing. This is 5x7 inches, oil on board. It is available in the gallery.

This painting, "The Orchid and Time," is one of my favorites. It is 18"x20" and looks at the primeval quality of life as embodied by orchids, which are, by far, my favorite flowers. "Old Vine Zin" SOLD

My favorite wine, old vine zin. Nothing beats sitting on the jasmine covered porch as the sun sets looking out into the park, eating  cheese with a glass of my favorite wine. This painting continues my series of libations, branching off into vino. Painted on a 5 x 7" board in oil, this beautiful and luscious work is perfect setting in a small display easel without a frame.  SOLD
